Inside the Fab Dubai World Cup 2013

30 Mar 2013

Get in on the amaze action from the biggest race day of the season

In 2013, as it is every year, the Dubai World Cup was an amazing celebration! Think fab fashion, top hats, gorgeous ladies and hot men! We'd barely reached Meydan that we spotted both the World Cup itself and Burj Al Arab working their way into hat and hair fashion, and we loved it!

And, of course, there was lots of glamour as always at Ahlan!'s studio at Apron Views and our special spot at The Irish Village.

We also got out and about at Bubble Lounge and caught the super stylish people at the Jaguar Style Stakes - we were well jel of the ladies who made it to the shortlist for creative hats and the best dresssed couples.

Animal Kingdom and jockey Joel Rosario were the big winners of the day, winning US$10 million and it was a fantastic race although there was a bit of heartbreak as defending champion Monterosso had to pull out. Check out all the complete list of winners right here:

Post race, it was time for Seal to make some music magic supported by the UAE's very own Hollaphonic! The Kiss from a Rose singer actually jumped out into the crowd! He clearly didn't realise Team Ahlan! would be waiting for him!
