For the first time ever in Dubai and for one night only, Michelin Star Chef Wilco Berends from Holland will present guests with a five course dinner full of Dutch culinary history at the Pure Sky Lounge & Dining on 6 November.
None other than the culinary genius himself, chef Wilco Berends, who runs the ever popular Michelin star restaurant 'De Nederlanden' in Holland, will serve up an authentic Dutch menu of bold ingredients, made with the summer's freshest produce to entice even the most sophisticated palate.
With a stunning view over the Arabian Gulf from the 35th floor of the Hilton Dubai The Walk, guests can experience a modern twists to Dutch cuisine. Deer and "Hotchpotch" (pan fried deer filet paired with parsnips, chanterelle mushrooms, red onion compote and waffle) is amongst the culinary highlights on the five course menu.
For the more adventurous eaters, try the perch and eel which is a pike perch from the river Vecht, prepared with smoked eel, nuts and smoked beet glaze. Finish the evening with their best of Holland desserts and indulge in their range of puddings like their vanilla and soft cured cheese soufflé, served with vanilla ice cream.
