There's a new IKEA coming to Dubai's south and it's going to be BUZZING
Shoppers rejoice!! There’s going to be another IKEA in Dubai opening soon.
Residents living in south Dubai just got lucky, the store is said to be as big as 33,000 square meters and will embrace digital integration for a better shopping experience. IKEA will be housed in the brand new Festival Plaza which is set to open its doors in December 2019, just off Sheikh Zayed Road near Ibn Battuta.
The newest IKEA is going to be the biggest in Dubai, meaning more product, more displays, MORE FUN.
Along with IKEA, home & outdoor brand (and pot-plant heaven), ACE, has also found place in Festival Plaza. They’ve got everything you could possibly need for gardening, home ware, paint, décor, automotive, pet care products and more.
Festival Plaza, a project by the Al Futtaim group, will be spread over 64,800 square meters and will give way to a whopping 120 stores, 40 cafes and restaurants, a 500-seat food court and 2,310 parking spaces. It is situated a little further from Ibn Battuta Mall, making it quite accessible for those living in and around Dubai Marina and the Palm Islands, and this mall will be a part of Al-Futtaim’s residential scheme, Wasl Gate.
Eagerly looking forward to the opening later this year. For more information, head over to their website.
