The Address Dubai Marina has pulled out all the stops to ensure your iftar experience will leave you undoubtedly full and almost certainly enlightened – in a culinary sense at the very least. From authentic Arabian lamb ouzi to fish masalas with a feisty kick, turkey with roast potatoes and gravy and lamb straight off the bone, this iftar offers so much variety it’s practically impossible not to find a dish that suits your palette. And we haven’t even mentioned the desserts yet. We sampled four varieties of kunafe, the traditional Arabian sweet with as many spellings to its name, made from pastry soaked in sugar syrup, filled with cream, cheese or nuts and topped with a crunchy vermicelli-shaped crumble or chopped pistachios. Gorgeous.
The venue, the Constellation Ballroom , is grand enough to host a celebrity wedding, and the bustling social vibe and the spirit of Ramadan is perceptibly present (you may find yourself sharing one of the large round table with other guests, which is all part of the fun).
There will also be an air-conditioned suhour tent with its own à la carte menu and flavourful shisha selection when the Holy Month comes around.
