Hyatt Capital Gate Abu Dhabi Hosts Master Pastry Chef During Gourmet Abu Dhabi
Visiting pastry chef,
Ernst Knam, will be at Hyatt Capital Gate from 6 to 9 February serving up his
inventive dessert creations at Profiteroles on the ground floor of the hotel
and the signature restaurant 18 Degrees. Chef Knam’s signature creations
include chocolate cake with almond pumpkin cream, a delicious three chocolate
mousse with passion fruit jelly and Singapore mousse with exotic fruits and
curry. In addition, Chef Knam will also prepare chocolates in the shape of a
house, with the iconic skyline of Hyatt Capital Gate Abu Dhabi. If that’s not
enough there’s the chocolate world with coffee, cardamom and mango, and the chocolate
mastik soufflé with a pear and vanilla salad.
The Milan-based chef
has worked in many Michelin-starred restaurants. Pastry has always been Knam’s
focus and he had his first work experience as an apprentice in Germany where he
He quickly moved on to
several establishments before arriving in Italy, where he made a name for himself.
With cookery titles under his belt and the winner of multiple accolades, Master
Patissier Ernst Knam will deliver an array of classical and imaginative dishes.
This is the second
year Hyatt Capital Gate is participating in Gourmet Abu Dhabi. This prestigious
gastronomic event brings together internationally-renowned chefs,
representatives from famous wineries, restaurateurs, industry professionals and
personalities to this emerging global capital.
