Designers looked to the East this season for inspiration and whipped up a host of Oriental treats. But, you can forget about the typical cheongsam dress sported by the staff at your local Chinese restaurant… we’re talking brocaded kimono jackets, funky obi belts and hitech prints. Proenza Schouler met this trend head on with a buy-me-now kimono-style dress (which you can find at Boutique 1 if you hurry), a Chinese-embroidered bomber jacket that would look hot with a fierce boot and numerous silk dresses with Oriental motifs. We love.
