When it comes to the beauty industry, Joelle Mardinian has established herself as a force to be reckoned with. After qualifying from the renowned Greasepaint Make-up School in London, she was recruited by Sony Records to beautify some of the world’s most glamorous A-list artists. Her talents were soon recognised by the head honchos at MBC, who brought her over to Dubai in 2004 to work on her self-titled reality show, Joelle. Showcasing her ability to makeover and enhance the looks of any person with her revered techniques at her exclusive beauty house, Maison de Joelle, the show proved to be so popular that it has now aired for over a decade. With the show’s success came a reputation for being the region’s top make-up artist.

Joelle’s influence on the beauty scene has earned her several accolades and in 2013 she was named one of the 100 most powerful Arab women in the Middle East, as well as one of the world’s 500 most influential Arabs. In addition, she was hailed Businesswoman of the Year at the Arabian Business awards. With five salons successfully running in the GCC, Joelle extended her reach by opening a further two in Doha and Jeddah last year. She also launched her haircare and skincare line, Joelle Paris, and opened Clinica Joelle, which caters for those seeking epic makeovers courtesy of a team of plastic surgeons, cosmetic dentists, nutritionists, dermatologists and laser experts.
