This weekend, Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of the Dubai Executive Council, introduced the world to his new pony foal, asking, "A joyful pony, full of life is looking for a name. What should we call him?"

Well,  you guys seriously came through, and the UAE royal narrowed his search down to two names, Amigo and Joy. Asking his followers to vote for their favourite name on Instagram. 

Well, the people have spoken, and they picked Joy, which got 51 percent of the votes. 

Sometimes you just need a little bit of “Joy” يسلّم عليكم جوي

The winning suggestion was sent in by Semah Jamal, a Saudi/Syrian desginer, who lives here in the UAE.
