As the son of revered hairdresser Younes Eid, whose eponymous salon in Lebanon has been ranked the third-best in the world, it’s perhaps not surprising that Haysam Eid decided to pursue a career in hairdressing himself. After learning his craft at London’s Toni & Guy academy, he went on to complete the prestigious L’Oréal Professional Colour Specialist Degree – he’s currently the only hairstylist in the Middle East to have earned the qualification. Haysam went back to work at his father’s salon in Beirut but believed that he could enhance its clients’ experience by creating his own range of haircare tools. By 2008, the idea for Eideal had been born. After building the brand from scratch, and despite the global economic downturn, he witnessed a growing demand for his products in Lebanon.
Taking a punt and hoping to establish the firm in the UAE, Haysam arrived in Dubai in 2010. By 2013, his company had grown aggressively, with Eideal products introduced to several new markets.
