Actress HAYDEN PANETTIERE's father has been ordered not to "harass, strike or threaten" his wife in a new temporary court order, issued less than a month after he was charged with misdemeanour battery following an alleged domestic dispute.
ALAN PANETTIERE was taken into custody in West Hollywood early on August 11th after allegedly attacking his wife, LESLIE VOGEL, at a party.
Both insisted the arrest was all a big misunderstanding, but Los Angeles authorities beg to differ.
A Beverly Hills judge issued the protective order on Tuesday, effective until his new arraignment date - scheduled for December 11th.
Panettiere faces up to a year in county jail if convicted.
