Is Kanye West losing it? Just a few days before the rapper publicly begged Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg to help get him get out of debt, producer Rhymefest spoke out to say that Kanye needs to see a counsellor.
Kanye West Needs Help
The internet has enjoyed several ramblings from Kanye’s Twitter feed over the past few days, but his close friend thinks that Kanye is mentally unstable. The producer, who made tracks Jesus Walks and New Slaves, let fans know he has no desire to collaborate with Kanye anymore, because he’s become difficult to work with, explaining: “My brother needs help, in the form of counselling. Spiritual and mental. He should step away from the public.” The 38-year-old Flashing Lights star has been tremendously controversial in recent days, aiming misogynistic lyrics at Taylor Swift in his new song Famous, claiming Bill Cosby is innocent, and then telling fans that he needs more money to be creative, even though he’s a millionaire.
West Wants Some Cash
Among his many Twitter rants, Kanye claimed to be $53 million (Dhs195m) in debt and explained he needs $1 billion (Dhs3.67 bn) from Mark Zuckerberg to help humanity. “I just feel rich people are always too cool to ask for help, trying to impress each other at dinner parties. I want to help the world and I need help to do it. I’m an artist and I care about humanity,” he said. Even though Ye owns a couple of mansions, private jets, and has an estimated personal wealth of Dhs547m, he wants more cash in order to achieve his ambitions. He blasted: “Yes I’m personally rich and I can buy furs and houses for my family, but I need more money in order to bring more beautiful ideas to the world. If I spent my money on my ideas I could not afford to take care of my family. Also, anyone that has money knows the first rule is to use other people’s money.”
A Pizza the Pie for Rapper
Mark hasn’t responded to West’s pleas yet, but fans were angered when the fashion designer suggested Google CEO Larry Page should stop investing in Africa and instead give him some cash. “Hey, Larry Page I’m down for your help too,” West added. “You’d rather open up one school in Africa like you really helped the country… if you want to help, help me.” Meanwhile, Pizza Hut took aim at the rapper and offered him a job. “Stop telling everyone you need dough and try kneading some,” the account tweeted. “We got your CV today. You start at 9am tomorrow.”
