Looking forward to this weekend with your best buds for a night out? Well, Dubai is keeping it alcohol free after 5:30 pm on Friday, 8 November to 6:30 pm on Saturday, 9 November.
Authorities have confirmed the dry nights, advising licensed bars and restaurants to refrain selling alcoholic drinks, taking place before the occasion of the Prophet (PBUH)’s birthday and marking of the Islamic New Year. Saturday, November 9 will be a public holiday.
Unaware of the dry night concept?
Licensed venues will stick to serving customers soft drinks ONLY, and the country is absolutely alcohol free for a span of 25 hours. The dry night period also applies to hotels.
In other news, expect a 5 day holiday with the coming of the 48th UAE National Day.
