In Los Angeles, a judge has signed the papers finalising Gwyneth Paltrow’s divorce from singer Chris Martin.
The Oscar winner and the Coldplay frontman got hitched in 2003, making their marriage a whopping 12 years long. The couple, who announced their divorce in March 2014, have remained close for the sake of their two children Apple and Moses.
There seems to be no ill will between the two. Gwyneth has recently expressed her admiration and respect for her ex-husband.
"My children know that we're in a loving family," she said during a Cannes Lions conversation with HardTalk's Stephen Sackur last month. "And I adore their father even though we're not in a romantic relationship.”
"I'm very proud of us for the way that - as anyone who has been divorced knows - we have had to put aside an awful lot to stay a family for the sake of the children. Sometimes it's quite tough on a personal level."
In May 2016, the two reached an agreement on property splitting and child support, and also gave up their rights to spousal support. By 14 July 2016, NowPeople.com confirmed that the two were legally single again.
The two have, however, moved on- Chris Martin dated actress Jennifer Lawrence after the end of his marriage and Gwyneth Paltrow is in a relationship with TV producer Brad Falchuk.
