Revealed! The secrets behind the celeb food junkies who balance indulgent appetites with hardcore workouts

Burgers, pizzas and chocolate desserts – it’s the quickest way to go from size-zero to super-sized but that hasn’t stopped Hollywood going junk food mad.

These days you’re more likely to see Kim Kardhasian slurping a on milkshake with her sisters, while for the likes of Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, pigging out on fatty fast food has long been a part of going out… when they’re not in jail that is.

But it’s not just reality princesses and sleazy socialites who are making Tinseltown takeaway crazy. Even Tinsletown’s leading ladies are coming clean about the less than healthy side of their diets.

Pizza is now just as much part of Gwyneth Paltow’s life as Pilates, while Eva Longoria
is just as desperate for piesas she is for the men of Wisteria Lane.

The trick for any Hollywood beauty though is not what you eat, it’s what you do about what you ear.

Here, some of the sexiest women in showbiz confess to Star Style their gut-busting cravings and how they beat the bulge, ready for their next takeaway treat...

GUT BUSTER: McDonalds.
“I have a real weakness for McDonald’s burgers and Diet Coke. I do eat healthily but I can’t resist a burger and a Coke. I drink Diet Coke all day long. Other people drink water, I drink Coke.”

FAT BUSTER: “I do some sort of cardio four or five times a week whether it be running or biking or rowing or stairs. I also do weight training but not heavy weights. It is never my goal to bulk up. I just want to stay healthy and trim and fit, so that I am able to be agile as I get older.”

GUT BUSTER: Burgers.
“I love In and Out. I do it like once a week. I get a treat for myself. I usually have a double-double burger and fries.”
FAT BUSTER: “I try to eat healthy the rest of the time and I work out like three or four times a week.”

GUT BUSTER: Chocolate and chips and ice cream.
“I love junk food. I always want chocolate, chips and ice cream. I love to drink tequila too.”
FAT BUSTER: “I’m not a dieter and I don’t do anything to keep myself in trim – I just in moderation.”

GUT BUSTER: Everything!
“I love all the greasy stuff; fried chicken, cheeseburgers, French fries, pancakes, doughnuts – everything. I know it’s not good for me so I have to be careful.”
FAT BUSTER: “Normally, I’m the worst at exercise other than dancing which keeps me pretty fit. When I’m working, I do take care of myself. I try to eat healthy and stay away from the bad food as much as I can. Discipline is very important. I try and whiz past the drive-thrus now. They’re dangerous.”

GUT BUSTER: Chinese takeout.
“I’m an eater and I love junk food. I’m going to wake up one day and I’ll be triple my size and I’ll say, ‘Ha, the joke’s on me! I love Chinese food,
any junk food basically and I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that.”
FAT BUSTER: “I think there’s too much emphasis on losing weight. So my advice would be, don’t compare yourself to actors who have a lot of money and can hire a fitness coach or yoga trainer to come to their homes.”
“South Africans love their food. I love red meat. For breakfast it’s steak and eggs.
I love cheese, meat, pizza, fries… My best meal would be a traditional braai with spicy sausages, juicy lamb chops, baked potatoes, salads and all the trimmings.”
FAT BUSTER: The Oscar winner learnt Capoeira, the Afro-Brazilian fighting technique, for her movie Aeon Flux and hasn’t looked back since. “It’s tough but it makes me more fit and more supple. It’s a really fascinating discipline.”

GUT BUSTER: Italian food, takeaway pizza and pies.
“I eat a lot. I love spaghetti with meatballs and I make a great pumpkin pie and great mashed potatoes. I have pizza once a week. I can’t resist it.”
FAT BUSTER: “It’s terrible but I barely do anything. I work out very occasionally but I don’t worry about dieting or going on strict regimes. I can eat what I want. I’m just lucky.”
“I love Mexican food. I’ve gotten to know all the best places to get it – either take out or to go for dinner. I love to go to dinner with friends but I always insist on going to the same places. I’m pretty boring really.”
FAT BUSTER: “I run and sweat and feel it. You get addicted to the euphoric feeling of getting up and having a good sweat. It wakes your body up. I also do yoga, and I do the elliptical and I run.”

“I am very careful about what I eat but I still treat myself. There is a place near where we live in London that does the most amazing margarita pizza. I’ve had so many that when I phone in they instantly know what I want. Once in a while I’ll have chocolate cake too.”
FAT BUSTER: “Two girdles! It’s a great trick. That’s how all the Hollywood girls do it. There are these great things called Spanx, which are like bike shorts, and they just squeeze you in. It’s terrific.”
and sweet treats.
“I used to worry about eating the right thing but now I just eat what I want, when I want. I love eating out and ordering in. There isn’t a junk food that’s been invented that I haven’t had and loved.”
FAT BUSTER: “I try to take care of myself but I am not freaky about it. I work out regularly but no more than anyone else. I’m not one of these sex symbols who doesn’t eat. I accept I am a womanly shape. I know from the men I’ve ever spoken to that they like their girls to have a bum on them!”
