As you would expect from the founder of The Change Initiative, Gundeep Singh’s family home is uncluttered and – while lavish – simple. “I like to adopt a minimalistic approach to avoid clutter. This gives a real sense of space and openness,” he says. Yet, for Gundeep, it’s vital that his home is a “warm and welcoming” family retreat for him, his wife, their two sons and his father.
Family life revolves around the kitchen-cum-lounge (complete with Sub-Zero vino chiller). “I spend hours here with my sons, playing chess, cooking with my wife and chatting with my dad over dinner,” he says.
But unsurprisingly for this environmentalist, the garden is an integral part of his home – complete with dining area, colourful flowerbeds and the flow of water from the fountain.
