Guacamole with Crispy Chips
Originally from Guadalajara in Mexico, Issac is passionate about traditional Mexican food, and he’s done an excellent job of bringing these authentic tastes to Dubai. Now you can bring the much-loved Mexican classic, guacamole, into your home with his simple recipe and top tip for creating the perfect result.
350g avocado, peeled and de-stoned
3g garlic, minced
30g red onion, finely diced
25ml fresh lime juice
5g coriander leaves, finely chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste
Finely diced green chilli
1. Place the avocado in a bowl and mash slightly.
2. Add the garlic, onion, coriander and lime juice and stir.
3. Add salt and pepper to taste.
4. Add a finely diced chilli to the mix if you prefer a spicy guacamole. Serve with corn tortilla chips or baked flour tortilla wedges.
