Gordon Ramsay's returning to Dubai and Novikov brings Mayfair Luxe to the Middle East

Gordon Ramsay is Coming Back to Dubai
It’s been a while since the celebrity chef quietly departed from our shores following the closure of Verre in Dubai Creek. However, it looks like the acid-tongued chef feels it’s high time he returned, given the influx of the crème de la crème of the culinary world having descended upon us, to make Dubai a globally renowned gastronomic destination. The Bread Kitchen, Gordon’s London-based concept is set to open its doors at Atlantis, The Palm in autumn, combining a British European menu with imaginative mixology for an eclectic dining experience. While any further developments are currently a bit hush-hush, the Masterchef star is excited about the new venture and said “The expertise of the team at Atlantis make them ideal partners and I’ll be working closely with them to deliver a dining experience of the highest standards and one that reflects the ethos of its sister restaurant in St Paul’s London.”

Novikov brings Mayfair to the Middle East
If you think you’ve experienced culinary fusion, how’s this for a mix? Novikov is the brainchild of three Russian entrepreneurs, who made their mark in London with their Asian and Italian restaurant concept that’s been a hit with the A-list, global influencers and numerous media personalities. What makes it so special? Each concept retains its own authenticity, despite being housed under one roof, from the open kitchen reminiscent of an Asian market serving up Chinese and Pan Asian cuisine, to the rustic charm of its Italian counterpart, complete with wood-fired oven, suede wall panelling and chandeliers. Set across two sprawling floors at the Sheraton Grand Hotel, this new exciting concept is due to open at the end of July.
