Unless you've been living under a rock, you've most likely heard about Forever 21 filing a bankruptcy case in the US.
The popular shop loved by many people for its beautiful and accessible clothing, with its signature bright-yellow shopping bag, was first established on April 16, 1984, but wasn't popular until the 2000s.
The good news is that you can consider yourself lucky if you live in the UAE, Singapore, India or the Philippines, because Forever 21 will remain open for business, but in Japan for example, 14 stores will be closing by the end of October. The company sadly plans to close most of its global sites across Asia & Europe.
Forever 21 said they still intend to run business as usual and will concentrate on a lucrative key aspect of its operations.
