The Irish community in Doha will be enjoying the craic during a special weekend at the Grand Hyatt Doha – and everybody’s invited.
The fun starts with an evening brunch on Thursday 12 September and will continue with a more traditional Friday afternoon brunch the next day.
Whether you go for one brunch or indulge in both, expect a feast prepared by Park Hyatt Dubai’s acclaimed Irish executive chef Michael Clinton featuring a range of Irish specialities. Highlights include smoked Irish salmon, Dublin Bay prawns, Kellys Irish oysters, steamed Galway mussels with creamed leeks and, of course, a hearty Irish lamb stew, to be washed down with traditional brews and possibly an Irish coffee if you still have room.
Organised by the Grand Hyatt and supported by the Qatar Irish Society, the event is an opportunity for Qatar’s big Irish community to get together and have some fun. With this in mind, there will be Irish dance performances and the chance to win prizes by trying to Irish dance (good luck!)
