Living in Dubai, stylistas are no strangers to cutting-edge fashion firsts. Adding to that stylish list was, hold your breath for it, the city’s very first underwater fashion show at Ambassador Lagoon, Atlantis, The Palm! Sukar.com and American University in the Emirates teamed up for the fash extravaganza on 8 December, and it made for quite the spectacular runway report!
What we got to see was an original ocean-inspired collection created by students of the American University’s School of Fashion modelled amidst the exotic marine life populating the Atlantis aquarium.
The floating and swimming models were kitted with breathing equipment for the unusual runway, and they showed off some super creative designs. We liked how the UAE’s flag made an appearance too!
