Get Gaming with the First Qatari-created Mobile Game!

The world’s first Qatar-produced game for mobile devices is set to launch in December. Giddam is a racing game that is built on 4 main characters - Strawbery, Rashid, Big Mama and Ali - who wear traditional attire. The game requires players to use local as well as non-traditional weapons such as the famous Karak tea, the A’qal that is the traditional headwear worn by men and many other weapons that either give them power or help them trap their opponents.

The game offers a unique networking opportunity as well, so players can actually socialize and play with friends and meet fellow gamers.

The game was devised by Munera Al-Dosari, Faraj Abdulla and Fatima Al-Kuwari, who formed Girnaas Studio with incubation support from ictQatar and will be available to download as a free App for Android and Apple IOS next month.

We can't wait to play!
