Forget taxis and the metro, the new way to travel in Dubai is by bike! Eager cyclists can now zip along brand new bike tracks in various parts of the city such as Jumeirah, Mankhool and Bur Dubai.
The new cycling tracks have been completed as part of the Dubai Bicycle Master Plan, which is aiming to provide 850km of bikeways in busy areas of the city as an alternate means of transport.
The completed cycling tracks include a 23km-long one along Jumeirah Street, a 1.4km track linking Jumeirah Street with Al Mankhool Street and a 1.6km track at the Mall of the Emirates metro station.
So grab that helmet and get cycling!
