Good news, fashionistas! Galeries Lafayette is finally bringing luxury and fashion to pre-eminence by introducing international couture and ready-to-wear brands in the department store.

Renowned for its 360 shopping experience and premium luxury brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, Celine, Valentino, Gucci, Givenchy, Chloe, and Loewe, Galeries Lafayette is recognised as the first department store in the Middle East to offer local, regional and international brands under one roof. 

The store is now ready to enrich the women’s department by showcasing the collections of three well established Lebanese designers; Atelier Krikor Jabotian, Georges Chakra and Maison Georges Hobeika for a period for three months.

Each international designer is previewing a captivating selection of their latest Fall Winter 2019/2020 couture and ready-to-wear collections taking shoppers through a magical world of fashion.

Krikor Jabotian, best known for his refined craftsmanship, use of opulent textiles and signature airy silhouettes, used feathers and baroque embroideries alongside tulle and taffeta for his latest collection. Krikor already has fans around the world including celebrities and public figures such as Queen Rania of Jordan.

As for George Hobeika, his collection delves deep into the philosophy of celebration, a stream of flamboyant silhouettes, charming transparencies, plunging necklines embracing lace, glittery and embellished textiles. Georges Hobeika is distinguished for his unique style which combines the precious essence of femininity with the richness of poetic and cultural imagination.

And lastly, Georges Chakra, an artist and fashion designer best known for his modern and dazzling creations. “The back is my canvas, it expresses motion and emotion with strength and certainty” describes Chakra. The brand showcases the latest ready-to-wear collection which interprets the flapper girl of the roaring twenties era. His collection comprises of bold sequined statement pieces, jet black, white and glitzy gold offsets, mixed with vivid and flashy neon tones of orange, fuchsia, and green.
