Here's the full list of stars to be featured in Dubai's 'Walk of Fame'
Dubai's newest attraction is set to open in Downtown Dubai on October of this year, featuring everyone from professional athletes to K-pop stars and fashion designers,
The attraction will be Dubai's very own Hollywood-style Walk of Fame, and will feature the world, and region's, biggest celebrities.
The public was asked to nominate and vote for celebs of their choice in a global social media campaign. There will only be 400 stars unveiled at the launch in October, but once complete, the Walk of Fame will display 10,000 stars in total.
Here's the list of stars announced to receive a Dubai star:
Elie Saab
The very first Arab welcomed to the global fashion world. This fashion-turned-lifestyle designer has workshops across the globe, including one in Milan and Paris, the fashion capitals of the world. He dressed a number of well-known celebrities in the US, including Nicole Kidman, Beyoncé, Angelina Jolie and Sandra Bullock.
Shah Rukh Khan
Better known as SRK, he is dubbed as the 'King of Bollywood,' and has appeared in more than 80 Bollywood films! He was the second person to receive a Dubai star, and currently works with Dubai Tourism as the face of the 'Be My Guest' campaign.
Lionel Messi
Often referred to as the 'Best football player in the world,' Messi plays as forward and captain for both the Barcelona and the Argentina national team.
Abdul Majeed Abdullah
Saudi Arabian singer and composer will also receive a Dubai star this October! His music has been choreographed at the Dubai Fountain, and now, his name will be engraved at the Downtown grounds.
Mahendra Singh Dhoni
Or simply MS Dhoni, is a professional cricketer who served as captain of the Indian national team from 2007 to 2016.
Kahlil Gibran
Internationally recognised writer, poet, visual artist, journalist, and considered philosopher who was remembered as one of the greatest visionaries of his time.
BTS
The seven-member Korean boy band whose taking the world by storm following the huge success of their hits Mic Drop featuring Steve Aoki and Boy With Luv featuring Halsey.
Jackie Chan
Martial arts and Jackie Chan go hand and hand, and those are THE facts. The action star, film director, producer, stuntman and singer (Phew, that's a mouthful) will have his very own Dubai star. He also recently returned to Dubai to shoot scenes for his upcoming movie, Vanguard.
Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson
Do we really need to say anything? We mean, who wouldn't be excited to see this action and comedy star graze the Walk of Fame?
Ranveer Singh
An Indian actor who was among the highest-paid actors in the country. He's also managed to keep his spot in the Forbes India's Celebrity 100 list since 2012.
Fairouz
Another hugely influencial Arab singer, who performed in some of the world's greatest stages, like the Royal Albert Hall in London and the Carnegie Hall in New York.
EXO
The second K-pop boy group to be given a star. The wildly popular boy band caused hysteria and chaos when they performed at The Dubai Fountain in 2018 with their hit song 'Power.'
Ni Ni
Better known as China's sweetheart, she also starred in some iconic Chinese films like The Flowers of War.
Zachary Levi
Known for his role as Shazam in the DC cinematic universe, this American actor and singer also voiced Flynn Rider in the 2010 animation 'Tangled.'
Nancy Ajram
Another well-known Lebanese recording artist, who started to walk the path to her fame since she was only 15 years-old.
Virat Kohli
The second cricketer in the list, also known as the 'Best batsman in the world.' Kohli plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore in the Indian Premier League, and has been the team's captain since 2013.
Rami Malek
The Egyptian born actor reached the height of his fame after playing music legend Freddie Mercury in the 2018 film, Bohemian Rhapsody, which follows rock band Queen's success. The film became one of 2018's highest-grossing films and made $900 million from a budget of $50 million.
Robert Downy Jr.
Umm, hello? It's Iron Man, duh. He has so many awards and nominations, we cant even keep count. But Downy was named by Time magazine as one of the most influencial people in the world. He is also listed by Forbes as Hollywood's single highest-paid actor.
Aamir Khan
An Indian actor, director, filmmaker, and television talk-show host. Phew, that's a mouthful. He holds nine Filmfare Awards, four National Film Awards, and an AACT Award.
Abdel Halim Hafez
The late Abdel Halim Hafez is still considered the greatest Egyptian musician along with Um Kulthum and Mohamed Abdel Wahab.
Leonardo Di Caprio
Titanic actor, holder of three Golden Globes and an Academy Award, will also be a Dubai star this October and we are super stoked.

Best known as the lead singer of British band, Coldplay. Their songs Yellow, Fix You, and The Scientist are alternative classics!
Zhang Ziyi
The Chinese actress and model gained international recognition after featuring in Ang Lee's Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon (2000), which was nominated for 10 Academy Awards.
Will Smith
Dubbed as "the most powerful actor in Hollywood", the American actor raves about how obsessed he is with Dubai. He recently brought his family to the city for an episode in his Facebook Watch series, where he skydived with his wife, Jada.
Idris Elba
Actor, writer, producer, musician, DJ, rapper, and singer... Okay, we feel talentless. Elba is best known for taking versatile acting roles including Stringer Bell in the HBO series The Wire, John Luther on the BBC One series Luther, and Nelson Mandela in the biographical film Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.
Zhao Liying
Also known as Zanilia Zhao, is a Chinese actress who has starred in an array of TV series. She ranked 4th on Forbes China Celebrity 100 list in 2017.

Professional Egyptian football player who currently plays as a forward for the Premier League club Liverpool and the Egypt national team. Lots of football fans also like to refer to him as one of the best footballers of all time.
Sergio Ramos
There's clearly a whole lot of footballers receiving a Dubai star this October, and Ramos will be one of them. The professional Spanish footballer plays for and captains both Real Madrid and the Spain national team as a centre back.
Adnan Al Talyani
A retired footballer who was born in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates. He started playing football back in the 1970s, and eventually made it to the UAE national team.
Serena Williams
An American professional tennis player, who placed No. 1 in the Women's Tennis Association between 2002 and 2017.
Nile Rodgers
The three-time Grammy Award-winner, and the chairman of the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Rodgers is also the co-founder of Chic, and has written, produced, and performed on records that have cumulatively sold more than 500 million albums and 75 million singles worldwide.
Amitabh Bachchan
This Indian film actor, film producer, television host and former politician, first gained popularity in the early 1970s for iconic Bollywood films such as Zanjeer, Deewaar and Sholay.
