Not so long ago, Let It Go was the catchiest tune, smashed by adults and children across the globe in an attempt to sound as lovely as Elsa in the animated movie. Due to the major success of the Disney blockbuster, producers are planning for the characters to return to the big screen.
The big news was announced at the end of a 'making of' special that aired in America on Tuesday night.
Frozen Fever, an animated short will be directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, the pair behind last year's hit movie, and it will feature a new song written by Oscar-winning songwriters Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez. The couple created the classic songs like Do You Want to Build a Snowman? and of course, Let It Go for Frozen.
Disney confirms the news: "In Frozen Fever, it's Anna's birthday and Elsa and Kristoff are determined to give her the best celebration ever, but Elsa's icy powers may put more than just the party at risk."
Idina Menzel, Kristen Bell, Jonathan Groff and Josh Gad will reprise their original Frozen roles in the new film, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
