For Ramadan this year, French luxury chocolatier Forrey & Galland is introducing a peacock-themed collection with specifically designed additions to its porcelain and confectionery ranges. “The peacock is an extremely elegant and fascinating bird,” says Isabelle Jaouen, Managing Director of Forrey & Galland, “The combination of colours in their feathers was a source of inspiration and it’s the perfect choice, especially as the peacock is associated with luck within this region.”

Try the Oriental meringues – crunchy meringue, coated in a layer of chocolate and filled with different Arabian-inspired flavours, including halwa, rahash, dates, rose, orange blossom and cardamom. Forrey & Galland has also added new products to some of its existing collections: the Omani halwa truffle – a rose and orange blossom-flavoured, flower-shaped marzipan – joins the ever popular truffle collection and this year’s Ramadan florentine is pistachio-flavoured.
