Where:
Argentina
Why? For me, it’s a country which has everything – Buenos Aires is a fabulous cosmopolitan city with fantastic shopping, restaurants and nightlife. A trip there must be combined with a visit to another part of the country. There are so many places to choose from: Iguazu Falls, which borders with Brazil, is one of the wonders of the world to me, the landscape and glaciers in the Patagonian south are breathtaking; the wine tasting and mountains around Mendoza are a foodie haven, or you can pop over to Uruguay where Punta del Este and the surrounding towns are considered the Ibiza of South America.
What’s the fashion like? Argentinians are truly beautiful and sophisticated people; their mixed European and South American heritage has given them a unique sense of style and joie de vivre. There is a really creative vibe in Palermo, where many of the young people live; it’s full of the most unique and quirky shops where you can find one-off designs of clothing, accessories and furniture. The antique market on Sundays in San Telmo is an experience like no other; all of my favourite vintage pieces have been found there.
Who would you take with you? I would take a group of my best friends so that I could show them around and give them a fi rst hand experience of everything the country has to offer. We would shop, party, eat well and be merry! As I have family there it would also be a privilege to show my closest friends this country which is an important part of my heritage.

Where?
Tokyo
Why? It always has been and always will be my ultimate destination. I love everything about the Japanese culture; their food, their ‘sakura showers’ during the cherry blossom season, and the people’s impeccable ethics and manners (amazing how they bow all the way to the door to show respect!). I also adore people watching on the streets. I love how they dress, how they giggle and most of all how they never fail to inspire me in so many ways. Everyone who likes novelty, has a unique and quirky sense of fashion, and seekers of great sushi need to visit here.
What’s the fashion like? Tokyo is full of quirky little boutiques such as those located in Shibuya 109 building. Japanese women and men are the true fashion trends setters. They think out of the box, are never afraid to experiment and once they nail a certain trend, the rest of the world obsessively follows.
Who would you take with you? My husband and my two little fashionistas! But next March I will be going with the s*uce girls to Tokyo fashion week where we will be showing Zayan AW12-13 collection. And shopping for s*uce of course!

Where: Italy
Why? I’m a big fan of the country. I love the Italian fashion, in particular the Italian designers. I also love all of the Italian cities and the food is fantastic. You can’t go wrong there!
What makes it fashionable? If we want to be specific, Milan is the place for fashion especially with fashion week - everyone enjoys it as it offers so much in terms of trends, not only in fashion, but also in furniture design and jewellery. It has a special flair.
Who would you take with you? I would go to Milan with a couple of my friends who like style and culture and appreciate truly great gastronomy.

My number one destination recommendation for 2012 is none other than Sweden’s capital, Stockholm!
Why? Stockholm has a lot to offer tourists. It’s a very beautiful city, especially during the summer months when the weather is a bit kinder and it stays light almost all night long. Pay a visit to the lovely old town, Gamla stan, with its cute, narrow cobbled streets and its charming cafés and restaurants. There’s also a lot of water in Stockholm as it spreads across 14 islands, so there are lots of interesting islands of various sizes to explore in the archipelago just outside the city. Take a small ferry to the nearest island of Fjaderholmarna and have nice walk around or simply sit on the cliffs and watch the massive cruise ships as they sail past!
What’s the fashion like? The people make Stockholm fashionable. Swedish people are very trend aware and very stylish. There are some great vintage shops, as people want to be individual and mix things up a bit. Sweden has produced some great fashion brands such as Filippa K, Acne, Whyred, J.Lindeberg, Carin Wester, Cheap Monday and of course H&M. The list goes on and on. The one thing the Swedes do brilliantly is denim. It is the best place in the world to get a great pair of jeans!
Who would you take with you? I’ll take my husband next time I go. Last time I went it was with my girlfriends and we had a lovely girls-only weekend!

Where?
Any year would not be complete without a visit to the Emerald City… Sydney, Australia.
Why? There is no doubt about it, Sydney has universal appeal. For the fashionistas there is amazing shopping for local designers; for art buffs, the galleries and the local indigenous artists are out of this world; for the foodies, all you need to know are the names Neil Perry, Luke Mangan and Maurice Terzini… they will rock your taste buds. For the outdoor purists, try sailing, paddle boarding or kayaking on the harbour. For the daredevils there is climbing the harbour bridge or a jet boat ride. For the romantics there are sunset strolls on the beach or around the harbour as well as picturesque gardens. You’ll also find surfing in some of the best breaks in the world, the most amazing golf course, one of the best zoos on the planet - the list goes on and on and on.
What’s the fashion like? The thing that makes Sydney one of the most fashionable destinations in the world is that it’s the home base to a crew of young fashion designers that are innovative and creative beyond belief, and they draw their inspiration from this great city. Zimmermann, Kirilily Johnson, Camilla & Marc, Collette Dinigan, Sass & Bide, Josh Goot, Dion Lee, Romance Is Born all call Sydney home. The fashion shopping strips and centres are home to their amazing boutiques and together they are responsible for defining Australian style - a style that is carrying many of them to the international fashion centres of the world.
Who would you take with you? The person I most want to be with in Sydney is my girlfriend; in fact I was there with her for New Year 2012, and the trip was made even more special by the fact that it was her birthday on New Year’s eve so we had an amazing double celebration.
