You can now fly to the US directly thanks to this new Emirates route
Stop-overs can prolong your flight unnecessarily and this can be especially annoying if you're planning to fly to countries on the other side of the world.
Fights to the US, for example, can take up to a day with stopovers.
But Emirates Airlines is here to give us some good news. There’s now a new way to get from Dubai to the US with no stopovers.
Emirates announced the new non-stop service between Dubai and Newark, New Jersey, giving travellers a more direct option rather than stopping in Athens.
According to the airline, the direct flight will operate with a Boeing 777-300ER, with eight first-class suites, 42 business-class and 306 economy-class seats.
Flight EK223 will have a set timing and will depart from Dubai at 3am and arrives in New Jersey at 9am local time. The return flight, EK224, departs from Newark at 11.50am and arrives back in Dubai at 8.20am local time.
Emirates is planning to add two new flights a week to Fort Lauderdale and Orlando, Florida, in addition to the 12 destinations it serves already.
Seems like your next trip to the US is sorted. Reserve your spot now on the Emirates website.
