She’s the inspiration for Gucci’s Frida Gianni, and adored by Chanel’s Karl Lagerfeld. But, it looks like fashion’s hottest new muse, British singer Florence Welch, is set to make her biggest mark yet on the fashion world by launching her very own clothing line. The 24-year-old Florence and the Machine frontwoman is said to have teamed up with her stylist, Aldene Johnson, to create an inexpensive collection inspired by her own flamboyant look – and it’s reportedly heading for Topshop. “Florence has thousands of unique pieces ” spilled a source close to the singer. “She has everything from vintage gowns to garments she’s been given by Karl Lagerfeld, and would love to work with Aldene to create a line inspired by her wardrobe, like Kate Moss did.” And it  wouldn’t be the first time Florence has teamed up with Topshop. Back in 2009, the British fashion mega-brand’s  in-house design team created a series of bespoke stage costumes for the flame haired chanteuse’s appearance at Glastonbury, each of which reflected her dramatic and bohemian style. With Topshop’s owner Sir Philip Green already a hufe FATM fan, and Flo itching to take the plunge into the world of fashion design, we can’t see a more fitting hook up between Britain’s biggest high-street retailer and one of the country’s most inspiring new style icons.
