The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) has insisted residents proceed with caution as foggy weather is set to continue for the next few days.

Gulf News reports that airports across the UAE are facing heavy delays on inbound flights. Flights from Manchester, Birmingham, London, Jaipur, Baku, Algiers, Glasgow and Jeddah have all been delayed due to current weather conditions in the city. Over 120 inbound flights and dozens of outbound ones have experienced issues so far.

Visibility is reported to be less than 200 metres, and has so far caused accidents on both Emirates Road and Mohammed Bin Zayed Road in Dubai. The fog has also caused severe traffic jams on Al Khail Road, in Business Bay and on Ras Al Khor road.

The weather is expected to continue over the next few days, with fog heavy in the mornings and the rest of the day expected to be cloudy and hazy.
