Dubai is famed for its luxe and swanky hotels, which is all well and good, but the first Legoland hotel is set to open in the Middle East and to say we're excited is an understatement. Who doesn't want a castle play area, a disco elevator and themed room within their grasp?
When it opens in the Middle East in 2020 it will be the seventh worldwide - its current locations include Florida, California and Malaysia.
The 250-roomed hotel will be opposite Legoland theme park and built on 300,000 square feet of land to expand the area even more. Are you excited yet?
Raed Kajoor Al Nuami, DXB Entertainments CEO, said that the addition of a lego themed hotel at Dubai Parks and Resorts is going to enhance the current attractions.
The UAE now has two Legoland theme parks – Legoland Dubai and Legoland Waterpark, and we think that the Legoland Hotel is the cherry on top. So sit tight and make sure you add this to your list of ‘what to do in 2020’.
