Fashion Insider: It’s The End of an Era at Mulberry, Robert Pattinson signs up to Dior
End of an Era
Mulberry creative director Emma Hill announced her shock departure from the brand this week. Emma spent the last six years making Mulberry what it is today and was the brains behind the iconic Alexa and Del Rey bags that we love so much! We hope they find someone just as fab to replace her!
R-Patz Signs Up to Dior
Eye-candy time, ladies! Robert Pattinson will be starring in an ad campaign for Dior Homme, shot by renowned photographer Nan Goldin, in which I’m sure he will look super hot! Robert joins Natalie Portman and Charlize Theron in the current celeb circle that’s representing the Dior brand.
Isabel for H&M
H&M are back with another designer collaboration – hooray! This time they are working with French designer Isabel Marant, who promises to capture the chic Parisian style of her catwalk collections. I’m expecting elegantly cut pieces and iconic prints. The collection will hit H&M stores in November.
I was slightly freaked out by the press release sent around by Roberto Cavalli’s team showing a sketch of Beyoncé’s latest tour costume from the designer. The computer-generated sketch turns the superstar into an unrealistic Barbie-style doll. The proportions of the sketch are far from the singer’s real size, triggering the debate of whether this takes Photoshopping too far! It is a fab dress though, I can’t deny that!
Madge Hires Rita Ora
Rita Ora has been hired by the queen of pop herself, Madonna, to become the latest face of Material Girl, the clothing range with she co-owns with daughter Lourdes. Rita will replace Georgia May Jagger who was previously the brand ambassador. Could this be her ticket to US stardom?
