Fanr launches camel-themed menu in the UAE
If you’re looking to treat your taste buds to something new, Fanr Restaurant, located at Manarat Al Saadiyat, Saadiyat Island Cultural District is offering exactly that. On 1 May, the restaurant is launching a one of a kind camel-themed menu offering a modern take on the traditional delicacy.
Available during both lunch and dinner hours, the menu is celebrated for its health benefits and is enriched with vitamins, minerals and iron. The menu guides you through a world of Middle Eastern cuisine where diners can start with the traditional Moroccan Harira soup of chickpeas, onion, garlic, chickpeas, lentils and tomatoes – with succulent camel meat pieces.
The restaurant also offers something for the burger fans with Fanr’s signature homemade camel burger served on a toasted bun with lettuce, tomatoes and haloumi cheese. Adding a twist to a classic Italian dish, Fanr have included a divine camel meat ravioli with homemade ravioli filled with camel meat, ricotta, pine seeds, parmesan, capers, onion, garlic and over dried tomatoes. Diners can also spoil themselves with an Arabic style pizza Fanr’s classic camel sfiha with minced camel with crushed pine nuts, cumin, paprika scented mozzarella cheese, haloumi, pomegranate and fresh coriander.
Enjoy home comforts with the home-cooked East African style camel stew with spiced fillets of camel meat served on a bed of couscous with tomatoes, almond flakes, dates and pomegranate.
You can also ignite your sweet tooth with the bread and butter camel milk pudding served with chocolate chips, dates, nuts and saffron flavoured milk ice-cream.
