Family of Missing Sailor Timmy MacColl Heading to Dubai as Mystery Over Disappearance Continues
The search for Timmy MacColl continues

The devastated family of the British sailor
missing in Dubai for eight months are expected to land in the city this week with
the hope of getting some answers on his whereabouts.

Timothy MacColl was serving on the HMS
Westminster when it docked in the city, and was last seen leaving Rock Bottom
Café in Bur Dubai on 27 May. The case is being treated as a missing persons.

Timmy’s wife Rachael and her grandfather Jim
Cunningham are flying into the UAE after telling the BBC that they are getting
frustrated over a lack of progress in finding him.

Jim
Cunningham  said, "I don't think
we're much further forward than we were in the first month. We don't know where
Timmy is, we don't know what happened to him and it's purely conjecture.
There's been no positive feedback and month eight really is the same as month
one. We want to know what avenues have been explored, what the results were and
what any future inquiries will be."

Rachael
has previously made an emotional plea for information, saying, “"My
husband is not just a sailor; he's an adoring father, son and uncle. He is my
soul mate, my first love and best friend.”
