Like us, the world's been waiting for the Royal baby to arrive for a while now. And now we know that the wait's probably going to end this weekend! Prince William and Kate Middleton's tot is expected to arrive by the end of this week, the Duchess of Cornwall has revealed.
Quite inadvertently, Camilla dished the secret while on a visit to the Little Harbour Children's Hospice at Porthpean, Cornwall. The Duchess and husband Prince Charles were there to meet the locals and talk about causes close to their heart, and, along the way, they also talked about the Royal baby.
And it was while talking to guests at the unveiling of a plaque at the hospice that Camilla said, "We are all just waiting by the telephone. We are hopeful that by the end of the week he or she will be here."
The comment was later confirmed by a Clarence House spokesperson.
No confirmations about Kate's exact due date have come through from either her office or Wills' at Kensington Palace but mid-July was the approximate date.
So it's only a few days more wait! Watch this space for updates!
