Curl Up: This will tone up the abs and strengthen your lower back. It will also prepare you for more strenuous exercises. 

1 Start in a lying position with your knees bents and your arms straight out on either sides of your legs. Slowly pull your body upwards using your trunk.
2 Hold your knees for five seconds then slowly inhale and go back down to starting position, then repeat.
