Ever Wondered What Celebs Get in their Goodie Bags?
1. THE HOLIDAY OF A LIFETIME!
Shangri-La Villingili Resort and Spa, the first luxury resort in the Maldives south of the equator, will be offering luxury one-week trips for headline acts! Jealous much?
2. BEAUTY TREATS
Mega deluxe brand Natura Bisse (think Barcelona’s answer to La Prairie) is offering on-site hand massages and high-end beauty creams from their Diamond collection.
Local deluxe brand FO’AH Fragrances is being showcased here with five fragrances in the range, all featuring notes of our very own palm tree. Trust us, they’re totes amaze!
VIP lounge guests will also be offered the legendary Bastien Gonzalez dry manicures and pedicures, raved about by beauty insiders (you can try them at Atlantis, The Palm and One&Only resorts in Dubai), plus their Graceful Hands Delight hand cream, and a bottle of the ‘One&Only Red’ nail lacquer.
There’s also a taster of the new beauty drink Ocoo – not yet on shelves but we had a sip and can give it the thumbs up.
3. STYLE MUST-HAVES
Our favourite Arabic fashion house Malaak, created by Emirati Designer Huda Al Nuami (as seen in the Ahlan! Hot 100 2012) is gifting a selection of stunning avant-garde turbans to all guests visiting the lounge and the big names are getting tailored abayas. We can’t wait to see Cate Blanchett in hers!
Nadine and Chirine Sabaiti, the Dubai-based sisters behind the online fashion boutique thehipster.com have designed the official VIP Lounge goody bag which has been produced by Tactical Connections in both English and Arabic. Thehipster.com will also be gifting quirky artistic pillows and a selection of boho bracelets that are specifically designed to reflect the regions local style.
The local Emirati project, T-Junction will be creating bespoke T-shirts for the event with personalised names for all the celebrities in Arabic.
The passionate social enterprise ethical muse will be gifting celebrities and guests a beautiful handcrafted Dulcie bracelet, made from recycled newspapers and magazines, and a unique iPad sleeve, made from 100 per cent re-used plastic bag materials
And last but not least, the pioneering British designer Yasmine Richie will be gifting her unique Storylines wall art. Each piece is created by extracting all the still frames from a film and reducing them to less than a millimeter in width to create a kind of coloured barcode of a film. Kristen Davis’ one made from clips of SATC looks fab.
PLUS… The popular US confectionary company It’s Sugar will be gifting an array of tasty sweet treats from gummy bears to fizzy cola bottles. What more could celebs ask for?!
