The Abu Dhabi based airline unveiled officially its first Airbus A380 and Boeing 787 last week , bringing  a momentous year to a close.

The doors of the two new flagship aircrafts were open  for the first time to reveal the luxurious and modern cabin interiors, which include among other exclusive services, The Residence by Etihad, the one and only three-room suite in the sky, which will be available on all the A380 aircrafts.

Both aircrafts, the A380 and Boeing 787 offer unparalleled level of luxury and innovation for discerning  travellers, including the newly introduced Business Studios areas, which offer a fully flat bed of up to 80.5 inches long and the Economy Smart Seats with enhanced comfort through the unique ‘fixed wing’ headrest on each seat.

Discover and experience all these unique services on board of the A380, which will start operating daily to London Heathrow from next week, on 27 December, or book your flight on the Boeing 787 to Dusseldorf from 1 February 2015.

During the prestigious launch the  Etihad’s new elegant cabin crew uniforms have also made their debut. Designed by Italian couturier, Ettore Bilotta, the new uniform combines elegance, comfort and practicality and features a warm chocolate brown as the main colour combined with deep purple for cabin crew and lounge staff, while a burnt orange accent colour was chosen for ground crews and Special Services personnel.

"This is not just a uniform. This is pret-a-porter concept – a future lifestyle statement and homage to the golden age of glamorous flight. It is about bringing back classic elegance, allure and richness to our men and women in a style which will become their signature look. No matter where you are in the world, you will know this is Etihad.” Aubrey Tiedt, Vice President Guest Services at Etihad Airways said.
