Emma Watson shared a funky pic with Harry Potter writer J.K. Rowling on her birthday
Fifty-four years behind her and still looking as fresh as ever.
The British writer, J.K. Rowling, best known for beloved wizarding books, Harry Potter, just celebrated her 54th birthday on Wednesday. By the way, she shares the same birthday as the fictional character Harry Potter- and it looked lit!
Rowling celebrated a day earlier with a lavish costume party that Emma Watson, aka. Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter series, posted on her Instagram.
Watson revealed how much she had enjoyed Rowling's party, which showed her with the birthday girl and her Harry Potter co-star, Evanna Lynch, all dressed in costume.
“Sexy and scary! You smashed this,” she captioned the image. “All the love to you Jo. Happy Birthday!!!! Extra points to @msevylynch for being the most perfect cat.”
The picture showed the Beauty and the Beast actress dressed as Wonder Woman, while Evanna sported an emerald slip-on dress and glittery cat makeup.
The birthday girl looked dashing with her ghoulish attire and gory make-up over one half of her face, to give the effect that a demon was emerging through her skin.
Aww, isn't this author-cast relationship cute?
Watson and Rowling became close friends during her childhood, after she was cast as Hermione Granger in the 2001 film adaptation of the first Harry Potter novel, Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone.
Clearly, they've been tight since then and remained friends until the very last movie in 2011.
Who else is still sad the Harry Potter franchise is over?
