Nasser Ibrahim is no stranger to walking the talk, when it comes to supporting causes close to his heart. The Emirati banker is undertaking his fifth charity walkathon, and, this time round, it’s to raise support for the Al Noor Training Centre for Children with Special Needs.
Nasser’s walk, which is sponsored by RAK Bank, will begin on 15 December at 1am from Abu Dhabi Airport and end on 16 December at 4:30 pm at RAK Bank - Emaar Business Park branch, opposite the American University of Dubai (AUD).
Nasser strongly believes that “It is through such initiatives that we can create awareness and educate people to look closely at children with special needs and learn to accept them as equals in society, allowing them to also get involved at par in society’s development and everyday affairs.”
Nasser will be joined in the walkathon by over 150 more walkers. Children from Al Noor will also walk with the banker and the group for the last 1 km, emphasising their integration into society.
The money donated during the walkathon will be presented to the Al Noor Training Centre to help the kids.
