30kg not enough? If you're heading to these Asian destinations, you're in luck

We’ve all been there – that panic en route to the airport not knowing if your luggage is within the restricted baggage limit. Even worse – you get to the airport in a mad rush only to find you’re over the limit, which means you either have to pay extortionate amounts or get rid of some of your beloved belongings.

Thanks to Emirates, you might not have to worry about that any longer. If you’re on one of the selected routes. If you’re flying to India, Pakistan or the Philippines from Dubai, you’re in luck. Emirates is giving the free baggage allowance to these select destinations when you fly from Dubai to these countries under the promotion.

The baggage allowance also depends on the specific destinations. If you’re heading to Indian cities such as Kochi, Chennai, Mumbai, Thiruvananthapuram, or Pakistani cities like Karachi, Multan and Sialkot, and Philippines' Manila, Cebu and Clark, you’ll get an extra 10kg baggage allowance.

Depending on the day, you can get up to 50kg total excess baggage! Passengers flying to Colombo in Sri Lanka get up to 50kg checked baggage every Tue, Wed, Fri and Sun (1 Feb until 31 March).

If you’re from one of these countries and need to transport loads of good back home, now’s the time!
