Elizabeth Olsen Admits She Steals from her Sisters
Elizabeth Olsen admits she isn’t as “clever” as her sisters when it comes to style.
The younger sister of Mary-Kate and Ashley has risen to prominence of late, having starred in a string of acclaimed films including Martha Marcy May Marlene.
Elizabeth is currently promoting comedy drama Liberal Arts and often takes inspiration from her fashion designer siblings when it comes to dressing for the red carpet.
"I steal a lot of their clothes. It's awesome. Ones that fit. They're very little,” Elizabeth confessed to The Hollywood Reporter.
"I'm not as clever as they are. I just kind of steal things from what they already do."
The Olsen twins have been busy at New York Fashion Week, presenting the latest designs from their luxury label The Row.
Their younger sister joined them at the Carlyle Hotel near Central Park on Monday.
"I've never been to a classier event in my life! I loved every moment of it – at the Carlyle with the tea and the pastries, and the clothes were insanely gorgeous," Elizabeth gushed.
"It was ridiculous. Mary-Kate was, like, on my lap and we were watching it and it was really beautiful."
The Olsen sisters showed a chic Spring/Summer 13 collection, with the pair describing the season's line as "pure, soft and delicate lightness".
"Inspired by the 18th century scrolls of Ito Jakuchu, depicting the Japanese traditions of bird-and-flower paintings, the new collection celebrates a spirit of subtle colours and exquisite layering," they wrote in their show notes.
