Ed Sheeran designed a ketchup bottle for Heinz and it’s officially the coolest thing ever
Ed Sheeran and his love for Heinz is no secret. The two go wayy back infact, so much so that Heinz even sent a gift pack filled with ketchup bottles to Ed back in 2013.
Oh, Ed’s love for Heinz Ketchup is at such an extreme, it’s even led him to get a tattoo of the same! Absolute madness.
Cut to 2019 - the English singer and songwriter recently collaborated with Heinz Ketchup to design ketchup bottles for charity which he announced on Instagram in early June.
The result? Three limited-edition bottles of Heinz Tomato Ketchup were designed by Ed, based on his tattoos which were auctioned in London last week. One of the bottles was sold for a whopping £1,500.
The bottles are called "Ed Sheeran x Heinz Tomato Ketchup, Tattoo Edition," and only 150 of them are available for purchase – to mark Heinz’ 150th birthday.
Each one of the 150 are signed by Sheeran and come in a stunning speaker box.
The money raised from these limited-edition bottles will be donated to East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices, a charity nominated by Sheeran, and Rise Against Hunger, which is supported by Heinz.
