Eco-Conscious Celeb Style
We loved H&M’s recent designer collaboration with Marni but we’re super excited for the high street store to launch its very own new collection. This time the store is set to release a capsule collection under the umbrella of its eco-friendly Conscious Range, giving sustainable high street fashion a red carpet spin!
The new line, which brings sustainable fashion at high street prices, has already been a huge hit in T’town with Hollywood hottest stars having already snagged advanced pieces from the Exclusive Glamour Conscious collection.
Super stylish leading ladies Amanda Seyfried, Viola Davis and Kristen Davis are already fans of the Exclusive Glamour line, while starlet Michelle Williams earned major style points when she wore a custom-made gown from H&M’s Conscious Exclusive Glamour collection to the BAFTAs in February.
The Conscious Exclusive Glamour collection features some hot trends for the new season, with bright jewel tones, neon, frilly frocks, embellished fronts, and tulip style skirts all present.
Aside from the red carpet-inspired pieces, the more low key H&M Conscious main range will roll out to include men’s, women’s and children’s clothing, with 100 per cent organic cotton, hemp, and recycled polyester.
The Conscious collections show how important sustainability is to H&M. As well as the Exclusive Conscious collection, Conscious collections span other store concepts too, such as Divided, Women, Men and Kids. It’s all part of Conscious, the ongoing initiative to increase the use of organic cotton and other more sustainable materials.
Dedicated followers of fashion take note, the collection hits H&M stores across the globe from 12 April.
Fashion forward, easy on the purse strings, and good for the planet? We can’t wait for the launch date!
