Healthy Recipe: East Meets West Crab Cakes
200g premium lump crab from can
½ clove garlic, crushed
1 egg white
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tbsp sesame oil
1 tbsp white sesame seeds
1 red chili pepper
¼ red onion, finely chopped
1 tbsp chopped coriander
1 tbsp soy sauce
2 spring onions, chopped
1 slice white bread into crumbs, breadcrumbs
and egg into batter
5g carrot, julienne
5g beetroot, julienne
10g mixed salad leaves
1. Mix all the ingredients well in a bowl.
2. Make patties and dip in some whisked egg.
3. Slightly coat in breadcrumbs.
4. Fry for a few minutes on each side until golden brown.
5. Serve with some sweet chili sauce, salad leaves and some diced tomatoes around the plate.
