Dwayne Johnson has given assurance to Kevin Hart fans the actor and comedian is doing fine after his horror crash earlier this month.
The actor was taken to the hospital after his vintage 1970 Plymouth Barracuda he was a passenger in rolled down an embankment in California.
In his appearance in The Kelly Clarkson show, Johnson said his pal was “a lucky man.”
Hart was supposed to be Clarkson’s first-ever guest on her new TV talk show, so to fill in Dwayne Johnson agreed to cut short his honeymoon to stand in for his pal.
The pair are close friends- having acted together in movies such as Jumanji and Central Intelligence, the former WWE superstar confirmed he would soon pay his friend a hospital visit.
Johnson also posted the teaser for his TV appearance on his Instagram, saying he did the right thing by stepping in for Hart to who he refers to as familiy.
"I love the guy; he's one of my best friends," Johnson went to add on. "It could have been a lot worse, so he's a lucky man and he knows it too."
But he could not resist taking a dig at his friend saying, "Thankfully he was strapped into his car seat!"
The California Highway Patrol has confirmed that the driver of the car was not under the influence of alcohol leading up to the crash.
