The sky's the limit for Uber it seems.

The revolutionary ride-hailing app, which recently partnered with Dubai's Roads and Trasnport Authority (RTA) is preparing for a trial launch of flying taxis in 2020.

The RTA will carry out the test flight of Vertical Take-Off and Landing Vehicles (VToL) in partnership with Uber, reports Gulf News.

As part of its partnership with Uber, RTA will also conduct a study into pricing models, passenger movement and determine possible VToL routes in the city.

The study will also identify possible take-off and landing ports, called VertiPorts, around Dubai.

The result of all this research will be an actual flying car. We're still trying to wrap our heads around it.

The future is here!
