Rent's across Dubai have gone down!

New Year New apartment? According to Dubai’s official rent index, prices of one-and two-bedroom apartments have gone down in certain parts of Dubai including International City, JLT, Dubai Marina, Oud Metha, and Karama.

The 2016 rental calculator which is issued by the Dubai Land Department’s Real Estate Regulatory Authority has shown that rents for one-bedroom flats have dropped between 4.55% and 11%.

According to Emirates 24/7, the cost of two-bedroom apartments in International City which used to be between Dhs50,000 and Dhs65,000, per year now ranges between Dhs45,000 and Dhs60,000. While one-bedroom apartments, which used to be between Dhs40,000 and Dhs50,000, now range between Dhs38,000 and Dhs45,000.

In JLT the cost of two-bedroom apartments which used to be between Dhs120,000 and Dhs150,000 per year now ranges between Dhs110,000 to Dhs135,000, and one-bedroom apartments, which used to be between Dhs80,000 and Dhs100,000 now range between Dhs75,000 and Dhs90,000.

In Dubai Marina rates for two-bedroom apartments, which ranged from Dhs140,000 and Dhs190,000, have gone down by 5.26% and now range between Dhs140,000 to Dhs180,000, and one-bedroom apartments, which used to be between Dhs90,000 and Dhs120,000, now range between Dhs90,000 and Dhs110,000 per year.

Meanwhile in Oud Metha one-bedroom apartments, which used to be between Dhs70,000 and 80,000, now range between Dhs65,000 to Dhs80,000, and two-bedroom apartments now range between Dhs85,000 to Dhs110,000 per year.

In Karama rates for one-bedroom apartments, which used to be between 60,000 and 80,000, now range between Dhs55,000 to Dhs75,000 per year, and two-bedroom apartments which used to range between Dhs80,000 and Dhs100,000 now range between Dhs75,000 to Dhs90,000.
