Thousands see Dubai proposal go wrong, but it's revealed to be a stunt!

It seems to be the ultimate embarrasment. Proposing to your girlfriend in a packed shopping mall only to have her bash you over the head with a toy ukulele as you declare your undying love. That's what happened right here in Dubai!

The video begins with a young guy walking with his girlfriend up to a band in the middle of a mall. Crowds begin to gather around. The man says : "I have a very special message for a very special girl. This is where we met three months ago. You are my charm, you are my sweety pie, you are my cutie pie, my absolute everything, and I know you find this cheesy but I want everyone to know, you make me really happy."

However the romantic moment is interrupted when a toy train drives past.  But undeterred, t
he video ends with the guy getting down on one knee, about to pop the question when the girl suddenly grabs a ukulele from the band and bashes him over the head with it, She storms off as he lays shocked on the floor.

But the video is revealed to be an advert for a chocolate brand! The toy train bears the message "no so sweet", which is the new slogan for Cadbury's Bournville chocolate. The company has launched a massive social media campaign. But advertising stunt or not, it certainly entertained us!
