Dubai Police have issued more than 52,000 fines for residents breaching the COVID-19 prevention rules, including 38,000 fines for people who left their houses unnecessarily.

The COVID-19 lock-down in Dubai required that residents obtain a move permit to visit the pharmacy or supermarket,  however the move permits are no longer required.

There are still restrictions in place including all residents must wear a mask when leaving their homes, spend no more than three hours in a mall, limit gatherings to five or less people and practice social distancing.
